NDEAM CANADA is pleased to announce details of upcoming events in Toronto and Ottawa to launch the documentary, A HIRE AWARENESS and to introduce National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) to Canadian business leaders across a range of industries, government representatives and elected officials.
The Toronto event will take place on Monday, March 28 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
The Ottawa event will take place on Thursday, March 31 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

Also speaking in Ottawa will be the Federal Minister of State (Seniors) the Honourable Julian Fantino and in Toronto, Mark Wafer, owner of seven Tim Hortons franchises and acclaimed diversity employer. Other high profile business and government speakers in Toronto and Ottawa will be announced over the coming days.
Participants at events will hear the persuasive business case for hiring persons with disabilities, the economic impact of much better utilization of this overlooked source of labour and be urged to join the movement to establish and maintain NDEAM in Canada. A HIRE AWARENESS will be screened and several Canadian leaders in the fields of employment of persons with disabilities and accessibility and accommodations will speak.
